Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Syrphidae from Buenos Aires

Hi, I found this Syrphidae fly at my backyard this week. I can't Identify it.
Could you please give me your opinion?

While several species of Baccha were described from Neotropical material, I think they have all been transferred to other genera now, and I don't think Baccha s.s. occurs in Argentina. There are several genera exhibiting narrow-waisted abdomens - I'm unable to suggest which one this is. Photos from some other angles might help (but not as much as a specimen! Wink)
