Hello! First post here.
I found this today and I was curious as to what it is since I have never seen one like it before. Google search told me it is called a hoverfly and it also brought me to this site. I know nothing about insects but I do enjoy taking close up pictures of them whenever I get the chance. Would be very appreciative of any info regarding this one. Oh, and I am in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia, if that info is of any use.
