Hello!
Is it possible to give this fly from yesterday (11.10.2020) from Leipzig (Saxony/Germany) a name?
Best regards,
Maik

I think it's belongs to the
Platypezidae
- but I'm not an expert.

Hi Kuv,

The wing venation and pattern on the thorax and abdomen match the diagrams of female
Lindneromyia dorsalis
in Chandler, 2001, The Flat-footed Flies (Diptera: Opetiidae and Platypezidae) of Europe
