Hello,
A Tachinidae found in North of France, at Clairmarais, the 12 September 2020, on a temporary meadow, near a mainly deciduous forest
It is possible to say the species of this
Cylindromyia sp. with these pictures ?
I was quite surprised to see this year both
Cylindromyia bicolor and this one for the first time where I live. Last time I saw a
Cylindromyia sp. it was in the Alps, 6 years ago !

Thanks you very much for your identification and the link to your article, Theo !

I read your article about these 3 species, very interesting ! I also found for the first time
Phasia aurigera in 2017 in the same forest (but none since, it might be because I became less active for a time and missed the 2018 and the 2019 late summer season, or maybe not ?)
