Hello
I found this Cheilosia in the Prealps (Switzerland), end august 2007 in a small wood.
I guess Ch. scutellata ...

Yes, could be, but from the angle of this picture it might be another species, namely Cheilosia soror!
Soror has (normally) a bright red thirdantennal segment, in scutellata it is brown to black. There are some more subtile differences, but as usual not visible on a picture. You don't have a frontal shot?
Otherwise it is female Cheilosia sp., ( soror/ scutellata)
