Hello

this fly was sitting on a Hypochoeris (probably), grasland near Lake Thun, Switzerland, 23.06.2007. So the fly is very small.
Could it be a Thecophora sp.?

given the size, not so wide frons and gena as we can find on Myopa this must be a Thecophora. It has in some way some similarities with Myopa occulta, but this is not Myopa.
