Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Pinneberg-Waldenau near Hamburg, at the edge of the mixed forest Klövensteen, at a metallic railing of a bridge for pedestrians, length 3,7 mm; 26th of Februar 2021. Outsidephotos: kuv. Sorry, no idea ... Please help to get the ID.

I do not see orbital setae - so perhaps Leucopis sp.

Small pale "grains"on the mesonotum are worth closer examining. There is a still undescribed small fungus (Stigmatomyces, Laboulbeniaceae) parasitizing Leucopis, and the grains might appear to be this fungus. Do you keep the specimen?

Sorry, Jan, I hadn't taken this specimen... I only have a few more pictures but they show no more details: The fly is simply too small for my camera. I think, so it must remain "perhaps Leucopis sp." as you said. Thank you very much for your engagement TumbsUp
