Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Calliphora non-vicina?

Hello!

Still looking for unusual Calliphoras other than vicina and vomitoria. This one from our house yesterday (Ostwestfalen/Germany) seems the be a candidate... It was not much larger than a normal house fly, and to me it seems to have a different wing shape than C. vicina. Also striking: the long bristles on the forelegs.

The "normal" Calliphora still like the rotting bananas in the garden Cool (together with some Polietes lardarius, Phaonia subventa, Suillia sp.s and many Drosophilas):

A tricky one, but the combination of the brown basicosta and wing base and the bicoloured genae makes me think it is probably vicina.

Thanks! Today I photographed another one, which was even smaller. I'll probably post a picture later, have examined the photos, yet.

Thanks! Then I suppose, these from today are vicina, too. They were even smaller, and they were females...

Can't tell from these angles, but it is surely not vomitoria.
