this about 8 mm fly is from March 30 in our garden in Hannover, Germany. Is an ID possible?

Note the broad vertex, very strong costal spine and rather anterior wing venation, plus very early spring: Brachychaeta strigata.

( Yes, I know, I do correct Rondani’s misspellings, because mistakes should be corrected in science)
