To me identification to species level is impossible. By the look of your picture this is a (very) young specimen, probably not more than 1 cm long.These pairs of light brown spots on the dorso-lateral part of the tergites are well developed in juvenile larvae and also the pigmentation of the lobes are hardly developed.....so Tipula spec. it will be. |
