yellow larva of Sciaridae ? -> Mycetophilidae
Joerg Brucklacher
Found 29.03.21 between rotten leaves under beeches in southern Germany, 500m
There were at least 10 individuals together. Someone said they could be Sciaridae, but all pictures I found showed greyish larvae, never that kind of yellow. Seems like a big amount of fat ?
Is there sombody who can help me to identify ?
Thank you for your answer.

This is a Mycetophilidae. The larvae have a large ventral opening of the head capsule, unlike Sciaridae. This ventral opening can be seen in the third photo

great - should I be aware of them glowing in the dark ?
Or is luminiscence not their business ?

Thank you for your answer and your help.
