Took an image of a hyobotidae today. Slightly larger than the common Tachydromia, but also hunting on the stems of trees. Is an ID possible? 25.4.2021, Pötzleinsdorf near Vienna. Thank you very much! Edited by MikeP on 27-04-2021 15:58 |

Hallo, thank you very much ! No, sorry, I did not collect it. In another (bad) image, I noticed a very strong spike on the upper femur. But I guess this is a rather common feature... Regards, Mike |

The tubercle at the base of the mid femur and the colour of the fore tibia are indicative of Tachypeza truncorum.
