Massachusetts, USA May 27, 2021. I saw several Pollenia resting on low leaves after overnight rain.

Dorsal. The abdomen appeared mostly white to the naked eye.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
