I'm a bit uncertain about the found fly - can maybe someone help me or point me in a direction where to look further?
At first glance, it appears like a Dolichopodidae to me, but the fery strong femora of the hind legs seem a bit unusual. I collected this species in the South Pacific.
I am happy about any input or suggestions Smile

I think Pseudorichardia (Platystomatidae).

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
