I can see it is something special, but xylotina should have much longer antenna. Could you show the ventral side ot first tergites ? Theo |

So, definitely in the brevicornis branche. Many bristles are broken off, but outer vertical looks quite strong. So why not female brevicornis ? Second segment of arista is somewhat out of focus, but looks elongated. Theo |

With these specimens from Malaise trap it is sometimes complicated. It's brevicornis, the genital part is broken hence this weird shape. Well done Theo, thank you. |
