Hello everyone, I have collected what I think are pupae of Napomyza gymnostoma fron leak stems. I am curious to see and photograph the adults (I could not find any pictures of adults on the web) At this point in time, they are stored in a transparent plastic box , outdoors in the shade. Do you know of any precaution I should take to make sure they make it and especially unfold their wings ? I am also worried they might dry off, as they normally seem remain iimbedded in living host plant tissues... Thanks for suggestions Philippe Edited by Philippe moniotte on 04-02-2008 20:21 |

soak some kitchen towels in water and place them with the pupa to increase the RH in the container |
