Hi again,
the 2nd fly today (Sept. 5th 2023) is may be part of the genus Pipunculidae ? on Impatiens parciflora. Region Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany
2 photos only and poor quality. Anyway, its a Pipunculidae or other genus, may be you know the species ?
Many Thanks, Norbert

Hi,

looks like one of the small Phasia (Tachinidae), which are around here at the moment, like Phasia pusilla. Definitely not Pipunculidae.
Best regards,
Jürgen

M1 vein straight, so that it is not Phasia. Wing venation is also different from that of Pipunculidae. This should be a platypezid.

Ups, I overlooked the wing venation in the first picture. General look was too convincing... awkward
Best regards,
Jürgen
