Very big wasp, the biggest I've seen, 20mm long or more. But it looks like a common Vespula germanica. I suppose it is a qeen starting a new colony?

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
