Yesterday. Pe?aflor, Aragon, NE Spain, continental-mediterranean climate, 300 meters. I've found it only in a small spot of salty soil of lime, easy to dig, and with high numbers of two different species of tiger beetles (Cephalota maura and Cylindera paludosa). These wasp was very common in this small zone but absent of the surrounding dry steppe-lands. Are medium-sized, maybe 11-12 mm, more or less the same than a honey bee. Always moving and very nervous, looking for holes and one time introducing into one (I don't know if for nesting, or for searching a prey).
