Hi! A nice pseudoskorpion (Pseudoskorpiones). A relative of Spiders and Skorpions. So not insect (has 8 legs!).

Your specimen is actually quite big compared to the ones here in Europe. They are mostly only determinable using microscope. Nice photo, anyway!

Here in Britain, 2mm is about average for a pseudoscorp - they can be twice that size!
This one looks like a Chernes or related genus, but i don't know what you'd get in Tanzania.

Yes, I meant bigger that the ones I see here Smile The biggest one I found was also 2 mm but others were smaller. That was a Neobisium which I kept for 4 months and fed with collembolas.
