This tiny Syrphid was photographed on flowers along a riding path over an old clearing. It's a female so I know ID will be difficult. Perhaps the small size is significant. Size: ~4-5mm Date: 21 August 2009 Location: On Senecio jacobaea and Tripleurospermum inodorum (Helsingborg, Sweden) Thanks! Edited by lagura on 23-09-2009 19:33  |

Certain ID impossible, but looking at the markings most likely a female Sph. scripta. |
