Hello I've a doubt for this syrph, the shape on the abdomen ant the thorax means to me Myathropa florea, but he is very large and very yellow for Myathropa ?? What do you mean Thank you Louis |

No doubt - Myathropa florea male. They can vary in size and in brightness, but no other European syrphid has that particular combination of thoracic and abdominal markings.
