Tiny Thing?
Roger Thomason
This <2mm "Thing" was loitering on a leaf in the garden yesterday. What is it?

phil withers
Do we really want to know about your tiny thing ?

phil withers
Actally it looks like a young Gargara genistae

Roger Thomason
Cheers Phil, well someone may be interested in my "tiny thing", but I can assure you there are no white flags with red crosses sticking out of my car Pfft.
I've looked at some pics..http://www.britis...istae.html........http://www.britis...nutus.html of the only 2 species found in the UK.
If it is as you say, what became of the antennae (?) or whatever sticking out below the eyes in my photo's?
..Roger

Black is right, and there is nothing young about them: these are adult because the fully developed wings are visible in all pictures.
