What might have been a nice series of photo's of this wasp ovipositing turned into a miserable failure, 'cause some dumb-ass (ME ![]() ![]() Size was maybe in the region of 6-8mm...ish. |

Great photos ... it's a pimpline ichneumon ... but I couldn't say what it was without a specimen ![]() Manager of the UK Species Inventory in the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity at the Natural History Museum, London. |

This looks like an Itoplectis species (tricoloured tibia III and bicoloured metatarsi).
