My understanding is that Latin words have gender-specific endings, which *should* match the gender of the genus. The problem is that often the original author gets the ending wrong and so species names can be corrected at a later date - leading to a little confusion Wink

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
