I found this larva under a fallen branch last week, in the East of France. Is it an Anisopodidae larva ? |

hard to tell, although to me it looks more like a Chironomidae (Orthocladiinae). Was the ground/branch wet or dry? |

The branch was wet, due to the rain. The branch was fallen in my garden, so this is not a permanent wet zone. |

Anisopodidae larvae have secondary segmentation, not evident here. |
