John, please check:
40. Fore and hind femora distinctly infuscated at least postero-dorsally; wings clear; proximal part of CuA1 less than twice longer than apical part; proximal part of M1+2 somewhat shorter than apical part; smaller species, total wing length about 3.0 ......................................................... aerosus (Fallén)
? All femora entirely pale yellow; wings clearly dark; proximal part of CuA1 more than twice longer than apical part; proximal part of M1+2 slightly longer than apical part; larger species, total wing length on average more than 4.0 .......................................................................metallicus (Stannius)
Best wishes,
Igor Grichanov

Igor,

Thank you for taking your time. I do not have the specimen left but I did take a number of photos. This one has a millimeter scale that seem to indicate a total wing length closer to 4.0

I think the femora seems quite evenly colored. Also I seem to remember the wings being quite dark and I think this shows in most of my pictures.

I don't think I'm experienced enough to sort out the more complex wing features but I would place my bet on metallicus.

Best regards,

John

It's a very typical G. metallicus, there's no doubt about that.
