Grammicomyia Bigot. Males of this genus guard oviposition sites and territories waiting for females. An uncommon behavior for micropezids, but widely difused in neriids. "Não por acaso são os insetos tão apaixonantes" Subjects: Taxonomy, Systematics, Biodiversity. Area: Neotropical Region, Caatinga. Families: Ctenostylidae, Cypselosomatidae, Helosciomyzidae, Micropezidae, Muscidae, Neriidae, Pseudopomyzidae, Syringogastridae, Somatiidae. |
