Eugene It can be either Aedes, Ochlerotatus, Culiseta of Culex, but I cannot establish the genus name without having a look at the siphon in lateral view. The position and number of the hairbundles on the siphon is diagnostic. |

No, it is not Culex pipiens. This photo is not enough for identification. Siphon of C. pipiens is different. |
