Hello Found swimming at the bottom of a Rainwater bucket in NE of France between Metz and Thionville (Distroff 57925), about 5mm lenght. I think it's Culex larva ? Thank you for your help Louis Weitten |

Culex territans larva. Immediately recognized by its long and slender siphon with numerous hairbundles. |

Tony reminded me of the presence of C. hortensis and on second thought this larvae belongs to C. hortensis instead of C. territans |
