Nope - i don't see anything Sad Are you sure you are uploading an image file (under 200KB with no spaces in the file name)? Those img tags are (I think) only used if you are refering to an image file you have already uploaded to another site, such as flickr.

Looks like Tipula (subgenus Lunatipula), and likely to be T. lunata, which is out now and widespread in the UK, but would need to see the tip of the abdomen in more detail to confirm.

Hi Folks

Looking at a number of shots it does sem to be Tipula lunata unless someone can point out any feature to the contrary ? It does seem to be a realtively new specimen

The habitat was right swampy lagoon - near marsh

Tipula spp iare amongt Britain's largest crane-flies

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
