egg clutch on Pinus bark
Lennart Bendixen
Hi,

has someone got an idea of whose eggs I have found? They stuck on the bark of a Pinus, which had been cut down a few weeks before. Unfortunately I don't know their size, because in 2012 I had no idea of what this could be at all...

Thank you!

Lennart

Odd position, but they look like slug eggs to me.

Thanks Tony, that's an interesting hint, until now I didn't even know how slug eggs look like.

Initially slug and snail eggs are white- or cream-coloured, but as the embryos develop they become clear, and the young slugs or snails are visible inside.
