Hi, I'd like to Identify this Asilidae Diptera. I guess it belongs to the leptogastrinae subfamily. (2 Tg five times larger than thick. ) but I can't reach further levels of identification. Picture was taken in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. Specifically at the Ribera Norte natural reserve, in San Isidro. -34.467748 S/ -58.494832 W I really appreciate any help with this ID? regards Diego Rosa Diego A. Rosa |

I do agree on Leptogastrinae[mail] but I can't give you a species. I have no experience with neotropical species.
