Are there good cues to separate Sapromyza, Sapromyzosoma, Homoneura, Lyciella etc. (Chaetotaxy)? This one was found in a garden in Vienna. Edited by Carnifex on 22-07-2019 15:33 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |

Sapromyzosoma quadricincta, male. Cues: Ocellar setae outside ocellar triangle, general build, rather orange yellow colour, dull mesonotum, greenish tinge to the eyes.
