Nice coloured wasp on a crochet needle
Robert Heemskerk
Since I discovered that tiny flies which occur sometimes on my screen or under my halogeenlamp are braconids (with help from Paul Beuk), I find more and more different species,

I have seen four different species sofar..
They are very small, the difference is only to see if you enlarge them.

Now I see a green eyed braconid(?) with black and white coloured wings and huge black and white antennes.

Nice species Wink and they help to clean-up my paprika's(with aphids!)
The metalic thing is a crochet needle Smile

Robert,

The antennae on this are quite characteristic of a chalidoid parasitic wasp - note the long first section, giving a down-hinged appearance Smile Beyond that I'm not sure what it is

Thank you Chris and Jorge!

Is this little wasp also Encyrtidae?
It got other antennae..

The necessary details are not visible but on over-all appearance I would say so.

Today I've found the same species of the first picture.

My camera can't make as good pictures as Robert's ones, but maybe an upper point of view can be helpful for identify (by seeing the wing marks).

Can be... at least the genus?

Looking a little in the web, I thinks that it's a male Encyrtus sp.
