Dipteran larva?

Hi, These photos were shared on a facebook group about portuguese Diptera. I have no idea what this is, so I asked the photographer for permission to share the photos here. This specimen appeared in a box where a cricket nymph was being reared. The cricket was dead, but without an apparent exit hole. I'm not sure if it is a dipteran larva, those leg-like appendages don't seem right. What do you think it could be? location: Portugal date: May 2020 |

I was told it measures about 1.5 cm. |
