Hi, I have photographed this larva which I guess is a sawfly last october in a deciduous forest near a pond. Loc. ForĂȘt de Marly, 15-20km west of Paris. Any idea of species or genus? Thanks for help, FRV |

Thank you very much Bubikol, you're right, it looks very much like the picture on your link. It would be reasonable to stick to Allantus sp. FRV |

With this diamond pattern, I'd vote for Tenthredo, e.g., T. livida (https://arthropod...isp=livida). Regards, Sundew |
