Hi! Photo on Finland Kokkola 20 June 2020. Is it possible to get family for that larva? Any help to genus or species is much appreciated. Size 23m. Thanks for help. Pentti Edited by Pentti Ketola on 22-06-2020 07:21 |

Hi Pentti, I think it's a caterpillar of a butterfly - and I'm a bit confused as it looks exactly like a young state of Saturnia pavoniella (Saturniidae), which is a species from the alpine regions of Italy, Austria etc. http://www.lepifo...Pavoniella Greetings, Eric Edited by eklans on 21-06-2020 09:30 |
