 Bibionidae, Dilophus febrilis from Romania

Hi, another fly collected near Sibiu (Transilvania). checking thru the gallery the only similar is Dilophus. 26.september.2007, ~6mm something more can be said? i will add also one image of the first tibiae, maybe is usefull. thanks in advance, cosmln [EDIT]: title chnaged Edited by cosmln on 21-11-2007 20:26 |

Correct, Dilophus. The black abdomen and strongly infuscated wings in female sex (this is a female) lead to D. febrilis. The most common species. Theo |
