18th International Symposium on Chironomidae

The end of 2010 is approaching fast and we would like to take this opportunity to remind all potential participants to preregister for the 18th International Symposium on Chironomidae, 4-6 July in Trondheim, Norway.

New Red Book of Species for Finland
The 2010 Red List of Finnish Species has been published today. You can download the book as a PDF file from http://www.ymparisto.fi/default.asp?contentid=370851&lan=en&clan=en.
The book is fully bilingual Finnish/English. Over 3500 Diptera species were reviewed for this red list. The Diptera section covers pages 476-504.
Chironomus Newsletter 23 published
