Chrysomyia? with those strong bristles on scutum? I doubt... I think this is a Lucilia sp. Anyone agree/disagree?

Agreed - and I don't think we can determine for sure which Lucilia from this shot.

so... if there are doubts about this ID, this should be discussed again in the forum... I think. The most important thing in gallery is to HAVE reliable IDs. Smile No matter how many posts are needed to get a consensus! That's why I propose that this photo should be posted in diptera to be discussed again... and then with a final conclusion fix the ID.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
