Hey Jorge congratulations for this great picture. This diptera family its rare in Mexico but undoubtly all species are awesome.

I just put myself in "mainstream's" position. Smile

It is really beautiful! It has light blue balancers an the grey stripes on it's thorax appear like a pinstripe suit of a business man. It wears stylish yellow shoes and its wings look like fragile glass. Its abdomen owns all rainbow colors, but the colors are not too saturated. So it is far from being overdressed, cheap or kitschy.
Not to forget the beautiful "rest" of the fly. Wink
