How did you reach the conclusion that this one is E. alaris and the other is E. cribrata?Shock

Running them through the key. Wink You can see by the colouration on the head and the antennae that they belonged to different species.

I already noticed that they were different species, but in the forum nobody knew the species for both flies and I was surprised when I saw the names on the photos.Smile

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
