Choerades ID -> Choerades gilva
maroo
Found this one in southern Sweden in august, rather large (about 20 mm).

Is it possible to say anything about the ID?

This is Choerades gilva to me... However, there are other related species in Sweden. Reinoud has truly studied this group so surely he can confirm/reject my proposal Wink Wait for his opinion, please.

Choerades gilva is right : ))))) There are not so many Choerades species with a red back in NW Europe (or anywhere else for that matter, although the only Spanish specimen i saw was something different...than gilva or ignea: )))))) I hope one day to encounter that one again.... : ))))
Greetings,

Reinoud
